When training with FPK9 Academy you can trust that you will be working in a way that will teach your dog appropriate manners for living in the human world as well as strengthen and enhance your relationship.
At FPK9 Academy we believe that small acts of kindness can do great good and create ripple effects into the larger world. We offer free classes to local Foster families that are currently housing rescue dogs and helping them in their journey to find their forever homes. We frequently host events that help raise donations and supplies for the local Salvation Army Food Bank. As a licensed presenter of the dog bite prevention program ”Be A Tree”, we offer free presentations to schools, libraries and children’s organizations throughout the Bruce Peninsula. We also contribute a monthly dog-training column to the Wiarton Echo to promote dog wellness and positive reinforcement training philosophies. FPK9 also supports local community initiatives through sponsorship and volunteerism.

I brought my dog to one of her classes when I first rescued him. After I saw the skill she had and her love of helping people work with thier dogs I knew I found the classes for me. Scout and I have done all of the classes she offers.
Jessica started training dogs as a teenager. Even younger she used to talk about running a dog farm when she was older. As an adult she started down the path about 15 years ago and studied to become a Certified Dog Trainer. She worked as the head instructor at a dog training facility in Waterford, Ontario until moving to Red Bay and starting her own facility.
